Spend a few hours learning about design, choosing colors, correct tools, methods of construction, where to buy supplies, and finishing. We’ll cover the basics that should give you the confidence to start a simple project. Registration deadline: March 1, 2007.

Fiber courses encourage the use and experimentation of both traditional and non-traditional materials as diverse as Tyvek, latex rubber, wax, resin, and plant matter. Student work investigates two and three dimensions including wall pieces, wearables, indoor and outdoor sculptural installations, and book forms. Fibers faculty emphasize a cross-disciplinary approach by students.
