  • Program Description: ACAD’s Fibre major covers a broad range of processes that includes weaving, dying, tapestry, surface design, felting, papermaking, sculpture, mixed media, and installation. At ACAD, traditional and experimental practices coexist to create a vital and dynamic program of study with an open and flexible attitude toward the development of the individual student’s own artmaking potential.

  • Program Description: The 2006 Maiwa Workshop Series: Continuing Traditions is a lineup of 21 intimate and hands-on workshops that explore the vast and creative potential of textiles.
