Anna Fidler’s New Works
in Collage
The work of Anna Fidler is featured in our Summer 2009 issue. “All my
work is about the exchange of energy, like photosynthesis between a plant and
the sun, or the energy that’s exchanged between members of a band while
playing,” says Fidler of her intriguing mixed-media work. These recent pieces
are inspired by music as well as sports. The Portland, Oregon-based artist is
a huge basketball fan and her studio is only ten blocks away from where the Portland
Trail Blazers takes on the competition. The artist’s website is www.annafidler.com.
